PRC delegations look into conditions of Palestinian Refugees in India

As part of the Palestinian Return Centre (PRC) efforts to help the Palestinian Refugees worldwide, a delegation from the centre visited a number of Palestinian Refugee families in India. The visit aimed to investigate their conditions in light of the many press reports which highlighted their suffering.  Additionally, the visit attempted to support them overcome their difficulties since fleeing the very war zone of Iraq.

Please come along and show the courts, our government and the world that you support the Palestinian struggle for freedom. Shaykh Raed has been in prison for 2 weeks. The first bail hearing failed. It is hoped that Shaykh Raed will win the appeal and be freed from prison.

Sheikh Raed Salah, the most prominent Palestinian political leader in Israel was arrested in London on 28 June at the request of the Home Secretary Theresa May. After his arrest he was taken to a police station, then a detention centre and on Friday 1st July he was moved to HMP Bedford where his lawyers have had limited access to him.

Arab delegation meets British Ambassador to Tel Aviv and demands Salah's immediate release On Wednesday morning, an Arab delegation representing the Higher Follow-up Committee for the Arab community inside Israel, met with the British Ambassador to Israel, Mathew Gould, at the British consulate in Tel Aviv. The Committee is the representative body of the Arab Palestinian population in Israel which includes all Arab political trends and parties active in the country.
