CALL FOR PAPERS: INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE FUTURE OF OSLO CALLING FOR PAPERS.

Arrangements for the 11th Palestinians in Europe conference are running smoothly and more guests have been confirmed. The 11^th Conference, organized by the General Secretariat of the Palestinians in Europe Conference, The Palestinian Return Centre (PRC), will be held in Brussels, Belgium on Saturday 18th May 2013.

 65 years ago, April 9 1948, the peaceful Arab village, Deir Yassin, a village in the suburb of Jerusalem was brutally attacked by Jewish Para military groups killing hundreds of people.

The Palestinian Return Centre (PRC) will be hosting a two-day conference to mark the 20th anniversary of the Oslo agreement. The centre announced the conference early in January 2013, since then, preparations are taking place to organise this condensed and significant think-thank conference.

We the undersigned organisations call on the European Union to take practical steps in stopping Israel’s continued violation of human rights through its abuse of Palestinian prisoners.

Early on the morning of Friday April 9th 1948, the peaceful Arab village of DeirYassin was attacked by members of the Zionist Irgun and the Stern Gang. More than 100 men, women and children were massacredand many others were wounded. The remaining population of the village had to flee.

A delegation from the Palestinian Return Centre (PRC) participated in a UN Seminar on Assistance to the Palestinian People convened by the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, FAO Headquarters, Rome, 27-28 Feb. 2013.

An International Campaign, “Britain, It’s Time To Apologise” was launched on 8^th Feb. 2013 in Britain by the Palestinian Return Center (PRC).
