Invitation: Plight of Palestinian Refugees in Syria at the Houses of Commons
The Palestinian Return Centre (PRC), in partnership with the Council for European Palestinian Relations (CEPR), will be hosting a public briefing at the Houses of Parliament.
Our event coincides with two global occasions, World Refugee Week and International Refugee Day, which are commemorated annually in June.
The parliamentary event will include a panel discussion by members of our recent delegation to Lebanon which looked into the condition of Palestinian refugee fleeing the civil war in Syria.
Hard copies of the report from the cross party delegation will be distributed and our most recent documentary which followed the parliamentarians in our delegation to Lebanon will also be shown.
Everyone is encouraged to attend.

The Palestinian Return Centre (PRC) and Exeter Institute of Arab Islamic Studies (IAIS) are organizing a two-day international conference to mark the 20th anniversary of the Oslo Agreement. The agreement between Yasser Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin in 1993 set the principals and Interim Self- Governing Arrangements for Palestine, which has presided over the region for two decades without achieving a final resolution.

The 11th Palestinians in Europe Conference ended in Brussels, on Saturday, 18th May 2013. The conference was convened under the title, “Signs of Return is blossoming”. Thousands of Palestinians participated in the annual event, which was attended by delegations from various European countries. A number of Palestinian politicians, community leaders and public figures participated in the event. They came from locations either in the occupied Palestinian territories or the Diaspora. European MPs, activists, journalists and representatives of various NGOs also took part in this year’s event.
